Al Moore is Moore is an educator, entrepreneur, and researcher and the Founder & Executive Director of Acelin Learning Solutions Inc. Moore engineered the growth of Acelin from a single person operation to a multi-unit team that has treated hundreds of students in schools across the Washington, D.C., New York and Boston areas in private and school-adapted programs. Al is currently enrolled in the doctoral program at Harvard University, where his interdisciplinary interests of cognitive neuroscience, developmental psychology, and education engage in the latest research to design effective interventions and support struggling readers. Al formerly served as the Executive Director for Johns Hopkins University’s Talent Development Secondary, improving education for students in high-need schools by using research-based reforms to address systemic challenges to student success. Al managed Talent’s programs and operations in the Boston region, including city-wide implementation of Diplomas Now, a $30 million US Dept. of Education study to improve graduation rates. Al holds a Master of Education degree from Harvard University and obtained his undergraduate degree, as well as a Master of Science degree, from the School of Public Affairs at American University in Washington, D.C.
